I'm signing off . . .

As you can probably see from my post below, I don't blog that often.
I do however tweet and facebook!

I'm exhibiting and selling my paper cuts this weekend at the Firle Garden Show. I'll be in the barn with the Firle Artists. Pop along if you can make it.

6 Artist and an Orchard ...

I have just taken down some of my cuttings and prints from the exhibition - 6 Artist and an Orchard  - which was part of this years Lewes Artwave Festival. What a brilliant couple of weekends and what an even brilliant-er venue, who can say no to homemade cream teas in an orchard and lots of lovely art. Here's hoping the venue will return next year!

One of my new cuttings ...

'We go together like pea and carrots'

Brighton Open Houses

The lovely ladies at Dimity Interiors asked me back to exhibited at the Round House, Firle, for the duration of the Brighton's Open Houses art festival (during May). Once again it was a lovely show in a lovely location with lovely artwork to be seen.
I got to exhibit some of my new cuttings - which can now be seen on my website. There seems to be a bit of a love theme going on. My particular favorite is 'Peas and Carrots'. See above!

Paper kitchen ...

I was asked recently to create a paper kitchen for the very cool food magazine Eat Me. I obviously jumped at the chance and here are the results.

Making magazine - Issue 5

It looks like I have got a lot of catching up/updating to do on this blog, where does the time go?
Lots of exhibitions and events going on at the moment. Watch this space (or blog!) for updates.

I thought I might start my updating with my recent (ish) feature in the lovely crafty magazine 'Making'. It is a magazine all about creative things you can do at home. My 'Nut tree' cutting was featured on the craft buys page.
I'm also in Issue 8 of the magazine (the paper issue) with some origami flowers.
